Rwanda wins Green Globe Award for restoration of Rugezi-Bulera-Ruhondo wetland

Rwanda has received the Green Globe Award in recognition of efforts to restore the Rugezi-Bulera-Ruhondo wetland. The prestigious global environmental award was announced by the World Wetland Network during an award ceremony held in Nagoya, Japan on October 26, 2010.
